We are a non for profit Company and registered Charity formed in 1993. We provide support services to people with learning disabilities in South East London and are registered with the Commission of Quality Care as a domiciliary care provider; at our last inspection we were awarded three stars (Excellent). Our aim, through the support we offer is to empower people to shape their own lives, providing opportunities for people to develop, take control of their own lives and improve their lifestyles.
Our services include:
- Supported Living
- Outreach/Floating Support
- A small community day service
- A Café that offers paid work and a training and work experience programme.
- We also provide training through All Star Training a group of learning disabled trainers.
Nexus supports people with a range of support needs, from the most independent to those that require significant support. We have particular strengths in supporting people with complex needs and significant reputations. We have clearly demonstrated over the years our ability and skill in supporting people with complex needs; successfully minimising the significant challenges that people present through offering well planned, individualised, consistent support, working in partnership with service users their families and other professionals. We will continue to support people to express their wishes through finding ways for them to exercise meaningful choice and control in their lives, the democratic process and service delivery.
